FIT FOR LIFE PROGRAM
At Genesis Fitness Centre we believe that in order for you to achieve your best results,
nutrition and exercise must be combined. If you are looking for a complete fitness system
that teaches you to manage your weight and eat correctly with safe, effective results, our
all-inclusive option gives you 5 ˝ hour classes in a group setting focusing on diet,
nutrition and weight management, combined with 5 ˝ hour sessions with a personal trainer
learning the basics of weight and cardio vascular training.
Nutrition and Weight Management 101
Nutrition 101 is 5 weeks of comprehensive classes on diet, nutrition and weight management.
With jobs, families, hobbies, school, etc., eating healthy can be another added challenge in
our already busy lives. Nutrition 101 will teach class participants to successfully manage
their eating habits around an active lifestyle. Each ˝ hour class will discuss topics such
as body composition, journaling, emotional eating, organization, portion sizes, visual clues,
food labels, supplementation, fats, proteins, carbohydrates, grocery shopping tips and eating
away from home. In addition, the program includes weekly weigh-ins and bi-weekly circumference measurements.
