You can train your body, your mind ... and your willpower. That's according to a study which said that with a little practice, it may be possible to strengthen and improve your self-control.

The study suggests self-control, or willpower, is like "building a muscle." "The more you 'exercise' it, by working out even when you don't feel like it, the more you'll increase and strengthen your self-control 'muscle' and quite possibly improve your health," says lead author Tricia M. Leahey, Ph.D. Building muscle and toning your body has more than just physical benefits. It can also aid you with willpower and self-control. Being able to accomplish this every day is a great motivator. Knowing that you have done something to improve your body makes you not want to spoil it.
